Born in the North of the country, precisely in Sainte-Suzanne, on April 24, 1934, Emma ACHILLE is a great figure in evangelical song. This Christian artist, theologian, began to sing very young in 1954. She devoted fifty seven (57) years of her life to the evangelical genre which earned her to be perceived, in the circles where she lived in the States United for example in the 1960s, to quote Ed Rainer SAINVIL in his work entitled “Drums struck Haitian camped”, as “the most fulfilled Gospel Voice”. Emma Achille produced five (5) albums: “Emma ACHILLE chante son Dieu”, “Les Airs d \ ‘Antan # 1,2,3” and the latest “Faith and Compassion”. Emma Achille, 73, is recovering.
