ARTIST/BAND /GROUP INFORMATION

Genres : Konpa

My musical career started in church, then in college I started playing bass for many different artists, from rock and roll to reggae, i was just getting my feet wet so i ended up playing bass for some really cool artists such as: Sister Carole, Billy Idol, Mickey Dread, Israel Vibrations, Maxi Priest and many other local Rock bands.

After graduating from college, I met a fine young man who ended up being a great friend, and mentor as well, his name is “Fabrice Rouzier” who was attending University of Maryland at that time, we got together, we formed a band called “DIFE” in Laurel, Maryland, we did some gigs in Maryland etc…then, Fabrice went back home to work for his parents, and he convinced me to embark on a solo career. He helped me by showing me some very important fundamental tricks about music producing, that later helped me produce my own and first solo album “Liberasyon” with hit songs like “ANBAGO” DEMOCRASY’ ETC….

I toured all over, played in festivals around the world, and the Manhattan circuit of clubs, from SOBS to Knitting Factory, i was performing in all those clubs in the early 90’s…then, I decided to take producing much more seriously. I started doing demos for people, and in 1996, I landed a major label deal with Ruffhouse/ Sony Records, and I later retired from performing, and i have been working with musicians helping them, by producing, consulting, marketing music in the mainstream market, and selectively in the Haitian community…but, in lew of all of the above, I can describe myself as ” A simple man, armed with intelligence, and passion for his country and culture, guided by the
Almighty Father, seeking to do good and to spread the most important message of these times which is “LOVE “
