Jean Herbert Constant, better known by his stage name Atis Constant, is a Haitian singer-songwriter, he was recognized after having participated in a television singing competition called “Digicel Stars” in the same year as Roody Roodboy and Vanessa Desire in 2010, This contest has been broadcasted on channel 8, the national television of Haiti. Born and raised by a Christian family in Carrefour (Haiti), his father is from Petite-Rivière-de-Nippes, his mother is from Grand’Anse (Haiti). During his childhood, he was more interested in football. At the age of 12 Constant has joined a football school. However, this sporting activity did not stop him from singing. At the age of thirteen he left the football school then met Jean Robert Belot, a Haitian musician and painter who taught him private guitar lessons, and that’s when he began to devote himself more to music.
