EUD (IYOUDI) is a Haitian rapper, singer and actress. Born April 25, 1984 in Pétion-Ville, Haiti, where she grew up and spent all her childhood, she bathes in music from a very young age. It evolves at the pace of the 80s and 90s, and it is the Rap Kreyòl (Haitian) who will boil her blood and incline her to participate in the movement. Her poetry takes to the streets and she is illustrated in several radio programs and in several festivals of Cre rap music. She began a musical career which is confirmed with her participation on a carnival song with the band Tribu of Job in 2000. She was only 16 years old at that time. Despite the opposition of her mother, she clings to her prose and continues to rhyme to find a place in the macho milieu of music. Against the advice of her father, EUD, still a minor, makes her first appearances on stage with her friends from the Tribe of Job, then with ASRAP on “Ka madan Brino” in 2001, then with LIVE JAM for the hit “Fanm se kajou »2003.

A versatile artist, her repertoire includes several genres of music such as Rap, RandB, Soul, World Beat, among others. With a captivating look and charisma from an international superstar, she admits to being influenced by artists like Lauryn Hill and Manzè de Boukman Eksperyans. We can notice these influences through his videos “Hey! In 2006 and “Y’ap pale” in 2011, where she expresses herself as a sophisticated and uninhibited woman in her blue jeans and tee-shirt. Possessing several talents, in 2007 she became co-host of the show “W’a Rap” at Telemax (Haiti). Artist in the soul, she poses her unique voice as well on punctual projects as on projects in the long term. Having participated in several projects for the group Mystik703, EUD joined the group officially in 2009. She participates on the album Decennia Mystik703 as an official member just before making an international tour with the group in France, Belgium and some islands of the Caribbean Francaises.

Later, she released a duet album entitled Limyèwouj, with DED KRA-Z, her co-equipier of Mystik703. Limyèwouj is put in all the bins in July 2011, and then, the duo performs an international tour for the promotion of the album, delivering performances in the United States, France and Cuba in summer 2011, and in Tokyo, Japan in November 2011. While its profile is gaining international momentum, its growing influence in Haiti is becoming increasingly evident. In the summer of 2012, EUD becomes the ambassador of the United Nations in an awareness campaign against violence against women. In January 2013, she was again selected as ambassador, this time by the Ministry of the Environment as part of a reforestation awareness campaign. Very popular worldwide, she was nominated in April 2014 by Indies Live, a media dedicated to all Caribbean culture, for the song “Ede m” by her duo Team LimyèWouj. Having launched a second album called Jou pa m ‘in 2014, the duo toured the cities of Jérémie, Cap-Haitien and Petit-Goave in particular. Out of the country, Eud, shines on the international stage during the summer of 2015, accompanied by her stage partner Ded Kra-z, with performances at the Pop Montreal Festival in Montreal, Canada, followed by the Denton Festival in Texas , USA and the youbloom festival in California, USA. Always well dressed during her shows, Eud reveals to the general public that her family always makes his stage costumes. Under the eager request of her fans, in 2014 she launched her own clothing line, EUD Collection, in which we find a merger of Caribbean karabela fabric and fabrics of African origin in order to highlight these respective cultures. Doing a bit of everything during this same period, she landed her first role as a leading actress in the movie Suspicion in 2015.

In October 2015, on her homeland, she became an ambassador for the Kenbe tet nou, kwè nan tèt nou “campaign of the Ministry of Education. She was then selected as national representative, in December 2015, by the Provisional Electoral Council as part of their campaign to get the vote out. Back on the international stage in March 2016, EUD is going on a Caribbean semi-tour to Guadeloupe and Martinique with the famous Congolese rapper, Maître Gims, as part of the Urban Festival. Immediately after, in April 2016, she crossed the Atlantic to Cape Verde to give a remarkable performance at the Atlantic Expo. A few months later, it was the turn of Admiral T, a great Caribbean artist of world renown, to feature it in her video entitled “My Queen” that he filmed in Haiti while highlighting the beauty natural of the country. In April 2017, EUD went to France as guest of Admiral T to participate in the impeccable concert of the latter at the AccordHotels Arena in Paris (Bercy). Thus, EUD is the first and only Haitian artist to bring the Rap Kreyòl (Haitian) to the big arena of Bercy.

Following these extraordinary feats, she is preparing for the launch of her first solo album after 17 years of career. She just recently launched two new singles “M’ap gade w” and “EUDomination”, the latter bearing the title of her album that will be in the bins in summer 2017.
