El Shama is a gospel Band that was founded by Ricardo Placide. Ricardo (Haitian Native) was in search of a way to capture the hearts of many lost, hurt, and emotionally Damaged people. He wanted a way to explain to them through the arts of music that whatever they were going through God always has the last word.
With that idea he Started El Shama in 2008 which started as a worship band. EL Shama then grew over the years as a well known, Gospel Christian Band in the haitian community, ministering In various style such as kompa, Reggae, Country, rock, etc… El Shama Mission is to win over souls through all different Nations, races, and age.
Our vision is to be true representatives of Christ of those searching for something bigger than themselves. Our goal is to see that everyone that listens to our music moves towards Christ, and that we may help serve His purposes through our music.
