Kayland, a songstress from Broward County Miami, is unique in her ability to deliver those nostalgic melodies over modern day and original production, where others rely heavily on samples. The singer/songwriter describes her style as new age R&B and captures the listener with her soothing vocals and telling lyrics.
Growing up with a Jamaican mother and Haitian father, Kayland was exposed to an array of culture that helped shape her colorful and vibrant sound. Her debut project, Purple Hues EP has boasted over 40,000 plays on Soundcloud and is the perfect introduction into the singer’s world of love, passion, and emotion. Kayland worked with Ayaana Nash on production providing a perfect blend for her deep and sultry voice.
Kayland’s newest single “Make Me Feel” is her newest release (August 30th) , following up her most recent single “Ginger” produced by RYN. She has performed all over Florida and Broward County including the United Creatives Festival in Orlando as well as in Miami’s popular art district of Wynwood for RNBae Collective. Dominating in Florida, Kayland is now ready to capture the attention of the rest of the world.
