Mark Plaisir was born in Miragoane, Haiti on August 12, and migrated to Boston, MA at the age of 17 with his family. The oldest son of a family of four, this well-rounded Singer/Songwriter was born to make history in the entertainment industry. At the age of 4, Plaisir started singing in church, and started playing the Guitar and the Trumpet at the age of twelve.

He’s a musician, a poet, an actor/model, a true artist who expresses his feelings, love and emotions through music and poetry. An
artist who appreciates a good sound of real music, inspired by artists such as Stevie Wonder, Mary J. Blige, Luther Vandross, Michael Jackson, India Arie, Brian McKnight, R-Kelly, Lyfe, Usher, Ray Charles, just to name a few.

From gospel to Rhythm and Blues to Neo/Soul, from church choirs to school bands, Mark Plaisir stays focused and keeps finding
new ways to share his passions his fans by creating beautiful music. After College in Boston Mass, Plaisir decided to move to NYC in 2004 to pursue his singing and acting career. From Pre-Med School to Acting School, he crossed over in spite of what relatives and others might have thought.

Following his dreams, He has collaborated with different artists from many genres, Hip-Hop to R&B to Haitian Kompa. He has been
in many different independent films from Boston to New Hampshire to LA to NYC.

He also made his appearance as a guest star in shows such as Law and Order, The David letterman Show, as well as many different
theatre productions: Antigone, Raisin in the Sun, just to name a few. With that being said, Mark Plaisir will continue to strive to bring his audience beautiful music regardless of what he might have to stumble upon along the way.
