The Haitian Music Industry (HMI) has long been celebrated for its energy, talent, and creativity, but beneath the surface lies a troubling pattern of sabotage, personal attacks, and destructive rivalries. Few artists embody this struggle more than K-Dilak and Bedjine, who have both been the targets of direct interference and online character assassination.

During a recent performance, Bedjine and K-Dilak faced an unsettling incident when an individual deliberately approached the stage and unplugged a wire from one of the outlets, clearly attempting to sabotage their show. Fortunately, K-Dilak noticed the act in real time and quickly alerted security before the damage could escalate, saving the performance from what could have been a serious disruption.

This was not the first time K-Dilak has spoken about such attempts to undermine him. In the past, he recounted a disturbing experience at an event where he saw a woman in the kitchen area doing something suspicious over a chair. Once finished, that chair was brought to Bedjine to sit on. Alarmed, K-Dilak told Bedjine not to use it and explained what he had witnessed. For him, it was yet another reminder that sabotage in the HMI is not always subtle, sometimes it is deliberate and personal.

Beyond the physical attempts at disruption, K-Dilak has also been the subject of relentless online attacks. Across social media, a coordinated smear campaign has worked overtime to paint him as a “deadbeat.” Yet it is important to note that Anie Alerte, the artist whom trolls accuse him of fathering a child with, has never once issued a public statement naming him in such a way. Despite her silence, these online aggressors continue to spread damaging narratives, with some even going so far as to promise they will destroy both K-Dilak and Bedjine regardless of truth. One troll even went as far as to claim she is on Anie’s payroll, though no proof has been presented to support this accusation.

What emerges from these incidents is a picture of an industry where talent often takes a backseat to jealousy and malicious intent. Instead of celebrating success, too many voices within the HMI seem committed to tearing artists down. From attempted stage sabotage to internet trolling campaigns, the message is clear, the business of music in Haiti has become entangled in toxic rivalries and personal vendettas.

Despite the hostility, K-Dilak and Bedjine continue to press forward, focusing on their craft and their fans. Their resilience in the face of such negativity is a testament to their commitment to music and to each other.

But the responsibility does not lie with the artists alone. Fans must also take a stand. The power to end smear campaigns and sabotage lies in refusing to spread lies, refusing to fuel gossip, and refusing to reward those who thrive on destruction. The HMI can only grow stronger if its audience demands integrity and keeps the focus where it belongs, on the music.

Sabotaj ak Kanpay Manti: Fòs K ap Travay nan Fènwa Kont K-Dilak ak Bedjine

Endistri Mizik Ayisyen an (HMI) toujou gen repitasyon pou enèji, talan, ak kreyativite li. Men dèyè sèn nan gen yon reyalite ki pi lou, ak sabotaj, atak pèsonèl, ak jalouzi k ap divize atis yo.

Plizyè kont ap travay lajounen kou lannwit pou fè l pase pou yon “move papa.” Men li enpòtan pou n sonje Anie Alerte, atis yo di ki gen yon pitit avè l, pa janm fè okenn deklarasyon piblik ki nonmen non li konsa. Malgre silans sa a, gen anpil moun sou entènèt ki kontinye gaye rimè sa yo, epi gen kèk ki menm rive di yo pral detwi K-Dilak ak Bedjine, menm si yo oblije bay manti. Gen yon moun ki menm deklare li touche nan men Anie pou fè travay sa a, men okenn prèv pa janm prezante pou konfime sa.

Tout sa montre yon endistri kote talan pase sou plan dèyè lè jalouzi ak mechanste antre an jwèt. Olye moun selebre siksè, yo pito eseye kraze atis yo. Soti nan sabòtaj sou sèn rive nan kanpay manti sou entènèt, mesaj la klè, mizik Ayisyen an vin twò souke pa divizyon ak rans pèsonèl.

Malgre tout obstak sa yo, K-Dilak ak Bedjine kontinye pouse travay yo pou pi devan, konsantre sou mizik yo ak fanatik yo. Detèminasyon yo montre yon angajman solid anvè atizay yo ak youn ak lòt.

Men responsablite a pa sou atis yo sèlman. Fanatik yo gen yon wòl enpòtan pou jwe. Pou kraze sik mechanste sa a, fanatik yo dwe refize gaye manti, refize antre nan pawòl fo, epi refize bay valè moun k ap viv nan detwi lòt. HMI a ap ka grandi sèlman si piblik la mande entegrite, epi kenbe konsantrasyon an kote li dwe ye, sou mizik la.
