Following a short trial in Alhambra, California, the jury deliberated for less than an hour before delivering a verdict in favor of the rapper. Jurors concluded that Cardi B did not assault Ellis and was not liable for any damages.
During her testimony, Cardi B maintained that she never touched Ellis, saying she became upset only because the guard appeared to be videotaping her while she was visiting the doctor.
