Drama is brewing once again in the HMI. During a recent interview on Radio Tropical, singer Georgy found herself in hot water after a comment she made about Alan Cave didn’t sit too well with his wife.
The interview, hosted by Patrick (formerly of the band Karamel), took a sharp turn when he asked Georgy about the big New York party last November. Georgy claimed that Alan made a “nasty” and disrespectful comment aimed at her, her mother Casley, and the entire band Hangout.
According to Georgy, that night she made her entrance in style, sitting on a queen-like lounge chair arranged by Casley. It was a grand, goddess-inspired moment that got the crowd buzzing. But behind the scenes, Alan allegedly ruined the vibe. Georgy said that while her team was preparing the chair, Alan bumped her mother out of the way and snapped, “Move your voodoo chair.”
On air, Georgy didn’t hold back. She clapped back by saying that if anyone was into voodoo, it was Alan himself, because, in her words, “he’s not the same Alan I knew all those years. His mind must be planted somewhere.” Georgy was careful not to mention his wife, but somehow the message reached her, and it reportedly didn’t sit well at all.
To add more spice, Georgy has openly admitted in the past that she once dated Alan before his wife came into the picture. That bit of history is fueling speculation that old wounds may be part of why this latest drama is hitting so hard.
Now, insiders are whispering that the fallout could have business consequences. Rumors suggest Alan Cave may reconsider booking Hangout for future events at Club A, a blow that could cost the group valuable gigs.
For now, the industry is buzzing, fans are choosing sides, and all eyes are on whether this little radio flare-up will cool down or explode into something bigger.
