The band GABEL was founded in 2007 by the founding members, such as Katalog (Valdimyr Etienne), Money-G, T-Lunet (James Momplaisir) and Fanfan Epav (Frantz Alcime). The group started out without a manager at the time but after Patrick Fabre had listened to the music of their first album A3, he became their manager.

GABEL made its grand premiere on January 27, 2007, at Marabou Cafe (Miami). After a few months, Money-G and T-Lunet left the group. In 2008, Athlet St Fleur (Flav) joined the group and appeared on the market with the song “Ou Se Melodie” on their album “Jenou sou Jenou”. In 2010, Jean Ernst Lafortune (T Pachou) joined them, and they released the album “Gon Jan Pou Ye” in 2011 with which they took over the market with force. In 2014, the album “Anyen Pa Etenel” was released and in 2017 “Kenbe Yes Ou”.

In November 2018, Gabel released a music video titled “Aba X” sung by Katalog featuring Rutshelle Guillaume. In November 2019, Gabel released three music videos titled “Sex Friend” sung by Flav, “Boule Lè a” sung by Katalog featuring Baky and “Solo Mio” sung by T Pachou featuring Master Brain (Vladimir Mead).

On January 27, 2022, Gabel released the video “Poko Pare” featuring Rutshelle Guillaume to announce their upcoming 6th album entitled “BENI” which was released on February 14, 2022.
In all, GABEL has 6 albums and 24 videos, including Aba X, Sex Friend, Boule Lè a, and Solo Mio.

During their 15 years of existence, GABEL has performed in a lot of places, such as Haiti, Bahamas, Martinique, Guadeloupe, Guyana, Chile, Miami, Boston, Atlanta, New York, New Jersey, Spring Valley, Washington, Philadelphia, Orlando, Tampa, Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Montreal, Toronto, etc…
