Dayana who had been receiving a bunch of threatening phone calls on her Digicel cell phone prior to the incident, told her mother about the calls and when the calls got unbearable she turned the phone over to her mother who then received one of those phone calls in the wee hours of the night from a young lady who thought she was speaking to the younger Ms. Mercier. According to sources; she stated how she hated the young artists because all the students in her school favored her.

The following day during her lunch hour Dayana decided to share her lunch which consisted of two sandwich with a friend. Right after consuming the food, both students passed out and were taken to the hospital where doctors told her mother the two were drugged. No word on exactly what she was drugged with but the police will be following up with an investigation.
