Under the premise of a singed contract, it is imperative that we submit this statement to all media outlets and those concerned, to announce that the group Djakout Mizik and all its members are scheduled to perform at the 11th Annual Haitian Compas Festival on Saturday, May 16, 2009. Many rumors have ensued surrounding the whereabouts of the group for that day, and it is necessary to officially confirm that the group is participating in the Haitian Compas Festival at Bicentennial Park.

Petitions for Visas have already been filed solely by Noel & Cecibon Productions and proper arrangements are being finalized to guarantee that Djakout Mizik receive all the necessary documentation to make this appearance a reality.

Also let it be known that all gatherings surrounding the realization of the 11th Annual Haitian Compas Festival on May 16th will also be respected by Djakout Mizik, including the Press Conference and all Kick-off and After parties.

To reiterate, Djakout Mizik has been contracted only by the 11th Annual Haitian Compas Festival to perform on May 16, 2009. No monies have been received from any other entity for performances other than the above mentioned event at Bicentennial Park in Downtown Miami.

False Advertisement at the expense of Djakout Mizik is nothing this management takes lightly this is why, as of Monday March 9th we have secured the services of an Attorney in Miami to finalize the actions to be taken against any promoters who use our name, pictures and music to falsely promote their events in the hopes of ensuring a percentage of attendees.

Djakout Mizik and its management is adamant about making sure that their name is not used under false pretences and we hope that with the cooperation of the Media, we will be able to confirm these truths.
