New York, NY (June 4, 2010) – Bonbagay Entertainment Public Relations and Marketing Inc., (B.E.) is proud to announce today that the freshly revived, popular Haitian Musical Band, Stil K-Dans has signed a marketing and representation agreement with B.E. to represent them in the US in light of the release of their upcoming album entitled “Bèl Ekip”.

As part of the agreement, B.E. will make available all its marketing and public relations resources to Stil-KDans, and will tirelessly work to uncover other exposure-increasing opportunities in order to return this talented group of musicians to their place of prominence amongst the elite formations of the Haitian Music Industry.

The new album will be reminiscent of the band’s unique sound that helped shape “La Nouvelle Generation” of Konpa Music in the late 90s, when the band was simply known as K-Dans. Due out this summer, “Bèl Ekip” will compromise 12 songs, including the previously released single “Foli” and the live version of “Tèt Kole Je Fèmen”. This Bèl Ekip has just started warming up.

The recently released single “Foli” caught a lot of attention and it definitively has many people asking the question: “Ak kiyès Stil K-Dans ap pale?” It is a sign of great things to come as the Band aims to not only meet, but exceed all expectations.

To that end, Stil K-Dans has been working diligently and the band is currently putting the finishing touches on Bèl Ekip, its long awaited Studio Album.

In a recent conversation with charismatic and soulful Lead singer Jude Jean, an unmatched yet humble talent told us with pride and confidence: “We have made some great improvements in our team and we guarantee our fans’ satisfaction”. Going back as far as its K-Dans days, the band proved to be one of the most musically sophisticated and versatile bands in the Haitian Music Industry. They were hailed by critics for not fallen into the category of unmerited hype and pushing the boundaries of Konpa Music.

The band was formed when new generation pioneer Papash & Zig-Zag merged to combine their efforts and talents to complete the team back in the 90s. The band continued on to success till the end 2008. Finally after a long hiatus, they renamed the band Stil-KDans and regrouped with the musical leadership of maestro and lead guitarist, Duckenson Fontaine (DiDi Santana) and fellow musicians, Jude Jean Lead Vocals; Alfred Lataillade Keyboards; Louis Jacques Oloff 2nd Guitar; Rozier Villaire: Drums; Carlo Cheveux: Floor Tom; Joachim Franklin: Bass; Antoine Jean to form Stil Kdans. As the name suggests, the band might have slightly changed but they remain the same talented band we’ve come to love and enjoy.
